Sarawak will have two foreign import slots available to be filled when the coming registration for foreign player starts as the Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) has confirmed that they would be releasing Muamer Salibasic from the team.
The news which was sent via a press release stated that Muamer was released due to a long term injury with FAS President Datu Sudarsono wishing the player a speedy recovery over his injury.
Muamer whom has been instrumental in Sarawak’s success in 2013 was hit by a long term injury in 2014.
However, FAS was patient to keep the foreign striker past the April transfer window, with the Bosnian then playing a few more matches before he was hit again by the same injury.
Muamer from then on watched his team mates play from the spectator bench, with questions emerging on his avaibility next season.
